GENERAL RULES BY WHICH "EMPIRE BOXING" IS GOVERNED:
**WEIGHT DIVISIONS: Only the original eight weight classes exist in EMPIRE BOXING: Flyweight, Bantamweight, Featherweight, Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Lightheavyweight, Heavyweight. There is ONE world title in each weight division, and four regional titles. All fighters that exist in the "Jr." weight classes, are moved up into the next class (ie. Strawweights & Jr. Flyweights move into the Flyweight class, Super-Middleweights into Light-Heavyweight, Cruiserweights move into the Heavyweight class, etc.).

**REGIONAL TITLES: There are four of these: USBA (United States Boxing Association), EBCO (European Boxing Conference), SABA (South Atlantic Boxing Association, & APBF (Asia-Pacific Boxing Federation). Each of these belts represents a specific global area of which only fighters from their respective areas can compete for that belt. Title matches are given to the highest ranking fighter who meets the title bout criteria. When a fighter wins a regional belt, every one of his fights counts as a defense of that title (no non-title bouts).

**WORLD TITLES: As stated above, there is only one of these per division. To earn a world title match, a fighter must first win a regional belt, defend it successfully three times, and be ranked the highest of all the regional belt holders. Once a fighters earns a world title match, he will relinquish his regional title prior to the world title fight (if he loses the world title bout, he leaves with no belt, period). The vacant regional title is determined in a bout between the two highest ranking fighters in that region with a winning record and a win in their last bout.

**SCORING: a 10 point must is used for all fights

**ROUNDS: World title fights are scheduled 15 round fights. Top 10 bouts are scheduled 12 rounders. Ranks 11-30 are 10 rounds, ranks 31-70 are eight rouns, ranks 71-130 are six rounds, ranks 131-above ar four rounds. Fighters scheduled for shorter fights may compete more often.

**JUDGING: Two judges and the referee score all fights.

**CAREER STAGE: Retired fighters compete in their "prime" stage, while currently active fighter compete in their real career stage (according to the program). This includes bouts run with auto scheduler.

**JUDGES BIAS: I do not utilize the "hometown favorite" option, I do give World Champ the edge in their fights however.
